Massage for you
-
Assisted stretching (Thai Massage)
Thai massage is a traditional therapeutic bodywork method that blends assisted stretching, acupressure, and gentle rhythmic movement to support mobility, relaxation, and whole-body balance. In this session, you are fully supported as I guide your body through a series of passive, yoga-like stretches designed to gently open tight areas, improve joint mobility, and restore natural movement patterns. No effort is required on your part—your body is moved for you in a slow, intentional, and comfortable way. This approach focuses heavily on functional stretching to help release tension patterns, improve flexibility, and create more ease in how your body moves and feels.

Massage
Experience a more informed and intentional approach to massage therapy, grounded in a deeper understanding of the human body and how it moves, compensates, and heals. With a background in physical therapy, each session is designed with a clinical awareness of anatomy, movement patterns, and muscular function. This allows for a more targeted and effective approach—going beyond relaxation to address the underlying sources of tension and imbalance. Massage therapy at 7 Oaks is a holistic, hands-on treatment that supports pain relief, improved circulation, mobility, and nervous system regulation. Every session is thoughtfully tailored to your body’s needs in the moment, whether that means focused therapeutic work, full-body relaxation, or a blend of both. The result is a massage experience that feels both restorative and purposeful—helping you move better, feel better, and function with greater ease.

Lymphatic Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle, specialized technique that supports the body’s natural lymphatic system, which plays an important role in fluid balance, tissue health, and immune function. This method uses light, rhythmic movements—often including gentle stretching, gliding, and subtle pumping techniques—to encourage the natural movement of lymph through the body’s pathways and lymph nodes. It is performed without deep pressure or traditional massage oil, allowing for a light, skin-focused approach that supports surface-level fluid flow. Because the lymphatic system follows a specific directional pathway, treatment is done in a structured sequence to help ensure fluid is guided effectively through the body. It is important to understand that lymphatic massage is a supportive therapy, not a quick fix. Results vary based on the individual, and many clients benefit most from a series of sessions combined with hydration, movement, and overall self-care practices. When used consistently, this therapy can help reduce fluid congestion, support post-surgical recovery, and promote a sense of lightness and balance in the body.
Specialized treatments explained
-
Concussion recovery therapy
Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) is a specialized therapeutic technique that combines gentle microcurrent stimulation with acupuncture-point-based methods to support the body’s natural regulatory and recovery processes. This approach is used as a supportive modality for individuals experiencing lingering symptoms following concussions or head trauma, such as headaches, neck tension, dizziness, sleep disturbances, and cognitive fatigue. By working with specific points on the body, MPS aims to help calm the nervous system, support circulation, and reduce areas of muscular and neurological tension. Many clients find this therapy helpful as part of a broader recovery plan to support comfort and overall function during healing.
-
Cupping
Cupping therapy is a traditional bodywork technique that uses specialized cups placed on the skin to create gentle suction and lift in the underlying tissues. This approach can help release deep muscular tension in a different way than compression-based massage techniques. Instead of pressing into tissues, cupping works by creating space—encouraging circulation, softening restrictions, and supporting natural tissue mobility. Cupping may help reduce muscle tightness, ease discomfort, support circulation, and decrease inflammation. Many clients also find it to be deeply relaxing, offering a unique sensation of release and relief in the body.
-
Acupressure
Acupressure is a gentle, effective hands-on therapy that can help address a wide range of concerns, including muscle and joint discomfort, stress, anxiety, sleep disturbances, headaches, and migraines. By applying sustained, intentional pressure to specific points on the body, acupressure supports the nervous system, encourages circulation, and helps the body shift toward a more balanced and relaxed state. Each session is tailored to your individual needs, combining physical and nervous system-based techniques to help release tension, restore ease of movement, and support overall well-being. With consistent care, the body often responds more efficiently over time, as each session builds on the last to support lasting change in how you feel and function.

Vibro Acoustic Therapy is a deeply soothing treatment that combines low-frequency sound waves and gentle vibrations to support relaxation, stress relief, and overall nervous system balance. Using the In-Harmony Vibro Acoustic Table, you’ll lie comfortably while calming vibrations and therapeutic sound frequencies move through the body. This experience can help ease muscular tension, reduce stress, and encourage a sense of physical and mental relaxation. The vibrations work through the body’s soft tissues, supporting circulation and helping the nervous system shift into a more restful state. Many clients describe the experience as grounding, calming, and deeply restorative. This therapy can be enjoyed on its own or integrated into a massage session for an added layer of relaxation and sensory support.

Losing a loved one can bring a profound sense of grief that affects both the heart and the body. This 30-minute supportive session is designed to meet you gently in that space, using acupressure combined with a Vibro Acoustic relaxation experience to encourage deep calm and nervous system rest. The intention of this session is not to fix or rush healing, but to provide a quiet, supportive space where emotional heaviness can soften and your body can find moments of ease and comfort.

exercise
Move better. Feel stronger. Function with more ease. My experience as a physical therapist assistant with 30 years of experience, I specialize in assessing movement and designing precise, individualized exercise programs that support real, lasting change. You’ll receive hands-on instruction and clear home exercises so you know exactly what your body needs—and how to do it correctly.
-
taping
Kinesio tape and therapeutic rigid tape are supportive tools that can be used as part of your treatment plan to improve movement, reduce discomfort, and support the body’s natural healing process. Kinesio tape offers gentle, flexible support that can help decrease pain, improve circulation, and allow for continued natural movement. It is often used for muscle tension, joint support, and fatigue. Therapeutic rigid tape provides a more structured level of support to stabilize injured or overworked areas, helping limit excess movement and protect tissues as they heal. This service is available as a standalone treatment or can be added to your massage session when additional support is beneficial. Both options are designed to complement hands-on bodywork, helping you feel more supported during recovery and daily movement. Taping may help reduce swelling, ease discomfort, and improve functional mobility between sessions.
